THE PARTNERSHIP

Traeger approached us for help with their #TraegerGameDay campaign. They wanted to partner with Justin Herbert, the quarterback of the LA Chargers, on a series of videos. During the 22-23 NFL season, Justin started a new tradition with his team: The Victory Brisket. After each win, the team would come over to his house, to enjoy a delicious brisket, smoked on his Traeger. So, Traeger wanted to help authentically telling these stories.

The Creator Code created 2 long-form videos, and 4 short-form videos with Justin Herbert to be posted on the Traeger social media pages.
The first long-form video, which premiered days before the kickoff of the NFL season, taught viewers how to make the Game Day staple, chicken wings, three ways.
The second long-form video was all about The Victory Brisket. Our goal was to authentically tell the story of The Victory Brisket while teaching viewers how to make it at home.
We also created 4 short-form videos. For two of them, we cut down the long-form videos, into short-form reels. The other two taught viewers how to craft the perfect brisket sandwich, while the second one was a Brisket Slicing Hack.
Overall, the goal was to connect the Traeger Brand to a franchise quarterback, enjoying a great meal while watching football, and celebrating wins in the NFL.

The community loved the content and the authentic approach to storytelling. In total, the long-form videos generated 108,000 views, and 944,400 across Instagram and TikTok.
